6 Generations of Wood Artisans
The story of Atelier Schrauwen began in 1889, when Piet Schrauwen completed his first oak grandfather clock. The seed was planted, and over the years not only the craft but also the passion for bespoke work was passed down from generation to generation.

Traditional craftsmanship for modern challenges
Today, Jef Schrauwen and Nicolle Raven lead the joinery workshop, and the clock has made way for characterful windows and doors. What has remained unchanged is the craftsmanship at the foundation of every project.

Armed with generations of expertise, they create high-quality custom windows and doors tailored to authentic renovation projects. They constantly seek a balance between tradition and sustainability, ensuring the final result not only looks authentic but will also last for generations.

Craftsmanship from start to finish
Delivering true craftsmanship is Atelier Schrauwen’s priority — and this does not only refer to the final result. The team of experts works with respect for every aspect of the project, from the first sketches to the final dust being swept from the frames.

Renovation
We consciously choose renovation. We do not carry out door restorations ourselves, but we are happy to help you find a suitable partner. You can read about our reasons in this blog article.

We love our craft and are proud of what we create each time. That is our motivation. We combine the knowledge of various experts — joiner, blacksmith, glazier, sculptor — into one clear and coordinated process, from planning to installation. That defines who we are and ensures we consistently deliver a work of art with the charm of the past and the comfort of today.
